Meet the Designers

Allison Kumiski

Creativity has always been a compass for me. Constantly shaping the way I see and move through the world. My travels around the globe have deeply inspired my work, influencing the colors, textures, and stories I’m drawn to tell. Creating for Cheeky Sumo has been such a great fit because I love bold, playful design with personality. In addition to apparel design I work in digital illustration, watercolor, and 3D art. I’m always experimenting and pushing myself to try new mediums and see from different perspectives. Working with Cheeky Sumo has been so fun, and I’m so excited to show you all what’s next!

Szymon Kwinto

My Name is Szymon Eliasz Rafał Prewysz-Kwinto… but that is far too long for this artist bio... You can call me Szymon Kwinto, or Szymon or even just Sy if you're feeling lazy! I was born in the USA to Polish parents and now I’m living in the UK and that just barely scrapes the surface of my weird origin story. My main focus in life is to create art. I am a professional Animator, Illustrator and Artist. I draw and create for a living and I love it. And have a guess what else I'm obsessed with? What? Did you seriously guess beetroots? Cause I hate beetroot. No no no, silly! I'm obsessed with Sumo! I have challenged myself to draw something Sumo related every Sunday until I achieve my goal of being able to see it in person.

In the many weeks and months of drawing Sumo I have drawn a lot of Rikishi but one more than the rest, a personal favourite of mine, URA! So I was ecstatic to work with Cheeky Sumo to create this limited release URA MAGIC t-shirt! Nothing better than showing the world you're a fan of Ura's pure pink magic and supporting a small business and independent artist!
